What happens to the original Claps Vault POP?

The original Claps Vault POP is now a legacy product. This means that it is no longer getting updates and is no longer supported. That being said, the old version will be included in your V2.0 download for people who have older projects and want to ensure compatibility. But at some point, this will stop completely. 

Can the Claps Vault POPV2.0 be installed alongside the original?

YES! They are separate instruments/Halion libraries so they will work alongisde with no issues. 

Is V1.0 compatible with V2.0 and will older projects using V1.0 load?

No, Claps Vault POP V2.0 is a brand-new instrument created from scratch. In order to make it better and add features, we had to re-write the code. So projects created with the original Claps Vault POPwill not open with V2.0. That's why for some time, the legacy version of the Claps Vault POP (the original) will be included with the V2.0 download.

 
What should I do with my original Claps Vault POP? 

I would suggest start using V2.0 from now on. It's much better in every single way. 😀
Make sure you backup the Claps Vault POP original library if you want to use it in the future as it will not be included in the downloads forever.
